چکیده
Objective Diabetes mellitus (DM) appears to increase osteoarthritic knee pain, which may be related greater adiposity and more advanced disease status often observed in individuals with osteoarthritis (OA) DM. We aimed assess whether OA pain health are worse DM, independent of these potential confounders. Methods included 202 participants DM 2,279 without from the Osteoarthritis Initiative. Knee was evaluated using Injury Outcome Score (KOOS) a numeric rating scale (NRS). Physical mental were assessed by Medical Outcomes Study Short Form 12 (SF-12) questionnaire, physical component summary (PCS) score (MCS) score, Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression Scale (CES-D). Linear regression models influence adjusted age, sex, body mass index (BMI), radiographic severity. Results reported issues compared Individuals had KOOS (β = –4.72 [95% confidence interval (95% CI) –7.22, –2.23]) NRS 0.42 CI 0.04, 0.80]) BMI, severity, sex. The negative also apparent SF-12 PCS –3.49 –4.73, –2.25]), MCS –1.42 –2.57, –0.26]), CES-D 1.08 0.08, 2.08]). Conclusion experience on average higher intensity if they have show that is risk factor addition BMI

OBJECTIVE OA is suspected to be a collection of distinct subtypes, each with different aetiology and clinical characteristics. We aimed to explore the existence of different subtypes of knee OA, using cluster analysis of the data of the OA Initiative. METHODS We used latent class cluster analysis (LCA) to cluster baseline data of 518 subjects of the OA Initiative progression cohort. Data incl...
